Autisme la Garriga

The Autisme la Garriga project aims to provide life-long, comprehensive care and treatment for people with autism whilst, at the same time, providing the support that their families need. The idea, which later brought the project to life, was fruit of the inspiration of a group of parents and professionals in 1975.

Now, after 35 years of work, that initiative has resulted in being able to offer the following services:

All of these services are run by multidisciplinary teams, consisting of professionals from the fields of psychiatry, neurology, psychology and family counselling. They are managed and coordinated by parents with autistic children who are in charge of the associations CERAC, ASEPAC and APAFAC, which together with the Fundació Privada Congost Autisme Project form Autisme la Garriga.

The Fundació Privada Congost Autisme, a private foundation, collaborates in this project by providing technical, human and economic support and by promoting training and research programs.
